Information from the Danish Warmblood and MCH A/S about COVID-19

Danish Warmblood and MCH follow the COVID-19 situation closely – in both Denmark and abroad - and we stay updated via the Danish Serum Institute and the National Board of Health, which writes on the website  sst.dk:

Conducting conferences or other events with many people

As a rule, no special reservations should be made with regard to organising events. Conferences and large events can therefore be held as planned. Companies can put up posters with advice of good hygiene to prevent infection. (source: sst.dk)

This means that the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show and the Horse & Rider trade fair will be carried out as planned on 4 - 8 March 2020, and both Danish and foreign exhibitors and guests who are not affected by travel restrictions can participate.

As we are by no means an epidemic expert, we are pleased that the authorities have authorized an epidemic commission with professionals and elected officials to assess major events individually and specifically on potential risk.

For the sake of the safety of exhibitors, guests and employees, we have already taken a number of measures recommended by the health authorities, including:

  • Put up the National Board of Health's posters, which call for increased hygiene with, among other things, hand sanitizer and increased carefulness about sneezing and coughing – to protect both themselves and others from infection in general (colds, flu and corona virus).
  • Set up additional options for hand sanitizing.
  • Increase cleaning – especially where there is a lot of traffic as well as at toilets, door handles, handrails, etc.
  • We follow the strong call of the health authorities and put employees and volunteers in quarantine who have been in risk areas and returned home for the past 14 days.

We would like to emphasize that the safety of our guests, participants, exhibitors and employees is of the highest priority, and in this context the MCH group is extremely experienced in dealing with the safety and well-being of many people and follows the advice of the relevant authorities and regulations on potential threats, including infection risk.

We look forward to seeing you in Herning.

With best regards,

Dansk Varmblod og MCH A/S
