The DWB Young Horse Championship in dressage and jumping

Each year in the autumn seven regional ability tests with specialized 4-year-old Danish Warmblood jumping and dressage horses are held all over Denmark.
Apart from providing valuable data for the DWB breeding evaluation system, these ability tests are qualifiers for the DWB Young Horse Championship that are held during the Stallion Show in Herning.

The 35 best dressage horses from these tests are qualified for the Blue Hors Young Horse Championship and the 30 best jumping horses are qualified for the Katrinelund Young Horse Championship, both events held in Herning as a part of the Stallion Show.

The competition is tense and much is on stake - many new stars are found - and it is always very inspiring to hear the comments of the internationally recognized test riders when they have their test sessions.

The gelding My Choice by Numero Unico/Frühling (Landjonker) won the Katrinelund Young Horse Championship for jumper horses in 2019 with Alexander Kjeldsen in the saddle.
